|
|
Snow Performance has had naturally aspirated systems available for carbureted engines for over a year. We have tailored a few systems towards the American carbureted V8.
20020 MC Boost Cooler for single carb (4150 style) applications. Includes the variable controller that has vacuum and rpm inputs, as well as a 1" spacer plate and fluid solenoid.
20020 MC2 Boost Cooler system as above, except that it includes 2 spacer plates for dual 4150-style carbs, and the additional hardware to run 2 nozzles at once.
20020 DOM Boost Cooler system for a single Dominator style carburetor.
These systems gove 20-25 points of octane increase when used with 50/50 water-methanol (like our Boost Juice) or even 15-20 points of octane when used with blue -20 deg F washer fluid!
What does this mean to the American V8 owner? You can run much, much higher compression ratios, more ignition timing lead and a leaner air-fuel ratio to make much more power, while running cooler and safer - and do it on pump gasoline (instead of race gas if required!)
Typical increases in power over pump gas are in the 5-10% range for compression ratios around 10-11:1, and can be in the 10-20% range for higher compression ratios. |

Very soon. The design of the new control unit is finalized, but production is taking longer than expected. _________________ Cooler, Lighter, Faster |
