| I'm using 91 octane California gas with 50/50 mix you guys sell. Using the 150 psi pump and a 375ml nozzle what is the approximate new octane rating? |

| Your effective octane will be in the 110-114 range. |

I
How do you calculate your new octane rating when adding snow boost?
Does the size of the Jet Influence the octane outcome?(cos im reading contradicting info )
91
93
95
+ Jet size
175
375
475
= New octane number=?

Your effective increase in octane has nothing to do with nozzle size... at least not directly. Adding a 50/50 mix of water/methanol to a certain octane gas will effectively increase the octane rating by ~25%.
If you're under nozzled and all the fluid is being vaporized before it reaches the combustion chamber you won't get the increase in detonation suppressant. This is why we recommend injecting enough fluid to see a half point reduction in your AFR. This has proven to be the most optimal tuning reference point in order to inject the correct amount of fluid.
