Please Help!
I am looking at purchasing this snow system. Here is what I have:
500 Chrysler RB Engine
Brodix Heads with 13:1 compression.
I have some general questions.
1) How does this water injection control correctly. I understand there is a throttle switch along with a vacuum control. My cam is radical and I assume the injection occurs under 0 bars of vacuum. This will be almost idle and WOT for me.
2) Will the injection be either "on" or "off" during activation or does this vary with vacuum.
3) How will I determine nozzle size?
4) Is this possible to run 93 octane (currently I use 110).
5) How common is this.
6) Is there anybody our there whom has an application similar to this. That has already successfully tried and tuned this?
7) I have a picture of the installation of the nozzle"

Wes,
The stage-1 NA system for your big block is activated with an adjustable vacuum switch( off or on). You can put a throttle switch in series with this if you don't have enough vacuum from large cam.
Have you seen the web site home page with T. Hunsacker pump gas drags '69 hemi barracuda? Very similar application. He is able to run 91 octane and get same performance as 116 octane.
Thanks,

Matt,
What size nozzle should I use for my RB wedge? I know it will be similar to Tim's Hemi Barracuda. Also the spacer plate bwtween the carb. and intake - is it as simple as drilling and tapping into the side as the picture you sent me? Let me know! Mainly I'm interested in the details for tapping into the spacer plate and mounting along with the correct nozzle size.
Thanks

Wes,
I recommend a 375ml/min nozzle. email me at mbsnow57@msn.com and I'll send a photo of Tom's nozzle installation.
Thanks,
